1. Who we are

SmartRead is operated by ProActa High Performance Management Limited (Company Registration No. 9711894). It is part of the PraXis by ProActa ecosystem.

2. What we collect

• Account details: email address, display name and profile picture.
• Content you add: books, covers, audio, and the settings and reading progress you save.
• Credit and payment records: purchases, credit balance and a ledger of how credits were used. Card and mobile-money details are entered with our payment provider and are not stored by SmartRead.
• Technical data needed to run the service: device type, error reports and security logs.

3. How we use it

To provide your library, reading, audio narration and publishing tools; to process purchases; to keep the service secure; and to answer your requests. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who processes it for us

• Supabase, for sign-in and the database.
• Cloudflare, for file storage and delivery.
• Flutterwave, for payments.
• AI providers, which receive only the text or content you submit for narration or video creation.

5. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time from Delete my account. This removes your sign-in, profile and the content you added. Records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons stay, without your name or email.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or remove your data. Write to Global Compliance at proacta@yahoo.com.

7. Children

SmartRead is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
